❯❯❯❯ FEB WRAP UP

❯❯❯❯ MARCH PLANS

February is such a short month, went in so quickly, and with me having the focus issues I had I shouldn't be too mad about not getting what I wanted done. The one and a half goals I actually completed were the in person surgery consultation in Scotland (aka The Big Thing) and the 'half' comes from me streaming quite often, even if it wasn't three times a week.

I told myself at the start of the year I was going to finish one book and one game a month, but that's been thwarted by my inability to focus severely. Then when I do focus it's on a gacha or MMO that doesn't have a true ending like Infinity Nikki or Warframe.

I did do some reading though while in Scotland and while waiting in the airports. I underestimated just how much I had left of The Forbidden City, and with me out of the habit of reading as often my progress was slower than usual. I do have a couple of smaller books (Eyetooth & There Is No Antimemetics Division) that I can hopefully read in a sitting or two in an attempt to shake off the cobwebs.

Anyway! The Great News!

The appointment in Scotland went well, and I'm going for top surgery on April 30th! I did have to drop £400 on a second referral which isn't ideal, but I can understand why. The hospital I chose have had issues with people falsifying documents from International psychologists in the last year, so they wanted one from inside the UK that they trust.

She got back to me the day after we got home and that appointment was today. She said she'll have things ready by the end of the week, then next week my surgeon's secretary will reach out to me on finalizing things and go through options for paying. I'm very excited.

It has seemingly triggered my overall health anxiety which I expect will get worse when I quit vaping later this month, but that's a rant I'll save for another time. For now, things are moving in a good direction and - despite all the shit I see about trans people in the news recently - I've never been happier.

I'll go through the photos I took and do a little dump soon :)
