first 'bed day' in a long while

Tasks Done

Today wasn't the best of days.

I went to bed last night with a big list of plans, and I woke up with a bad roll on the energy RNG. It didn't help that as the day went on I started to feel Unwell. Like, regular person Unwell.

After we went into town and handled some quick errands, I ate half of a Subway footlong and went to bed at 12:50pm. Foolishly, I didn't set an alarm, because I thought I'd get up again in a couple hours and go back to doing tasks.

Instead I slept until 6:45pm. Whoops.

I won't lie, I am very annoyed that I seem to have a bit of a tummy bug. At least that's what I think it is? I don't remember eating anything different, other than some sushi that was definitely still in date and a burger delivered from a place I frequently get food from. It's whatever.

I'm mostly just pissed because while I can handle poor energy rolls for the day, being regular person unwell on top of being chronically ill drains the energy so fucking fast, man. I just have to rest whether I like it or not.

But as the title says, this was my first time being in bed for the day in a good, long while. I had them more often when I was still fucking around and finding out what my new limits were in the early days of being disabled, and they don't happen too often these days.

I expect to feel Worse as the week goes on. We got a prediction for a possible blizzard this weekend, so the cold and the air pressure dropping means all of my bones are unhappy, and they're all lodging complaints about it to management (aka I'm very sore).

But it's fine. I'll manage. Tomorrow is a new day.
